Elounda Peninsula All Suite Hotel has received a very prestigious award at the annual "World travel awards", widely considered as the Oscars of the travel industry: "Mediterranean's Leading Hotel 2016".This distinction is important both for the hotel as well as the country, and encourages even more investment into this majestic destination. Such international accolades require upkeep, so the hotel is always improving and refurbishing its facilities and accommodation. In 2015, the seafront presidential suites with private pools were renovated, while two new villas with two bedrooms each were built to an entirely new concept, which will spearhead future developments.
